hey Spider..I think you've criticized enough of everyone's pictures
here...instead of telling us the bad things about the pics, why not the good
things?

Also I have to complain about ken..who ever he is and his butt buddy here
spider think they are...they have no right to complain about such stupid and
small details and errors. Like for example!

A few posts down "CD-ROMs attempt at photo realism"
ken said and I quote!

"That's a nice set of table coaster you have there (don't try to figure
it out it's an inside joke around here). Seriously this is one of the
better attempts on this theme I have seen to date. It is evident you
put considerable effort into it and it has paid off. Be careful with
the use of the work photo realism. Do you want it to look like a photo,
or do you want it to look like a real life view of this object in this
setting, fooling the viewer that it was indeed really there ??"
Now its a positive statement..but he has to add something negative! like
below where he gets upset about something so stupid and small...the use of
the word photorealism in this mans subject!

KEN: "I disliket he term photo realism for the above stated argument.
It
seems contrary to the intent of the artist to mimic reality in a
virtual medium."

I mean come on! shut up! i dont ever see you or spider posting your
pictures! im sure you could do a kick ass ob but come on man!

Generally most people do comment by saying what they like and what they
don't like. This is called feedback. I don't hear anyone who posts their
images complaining about your so-called harshness of criticism. In fact,
most are grateful for the criticism, as, that's how we get better.

And at least, when they criticize, they post their name, because they stand
behind what they say rather than hiding behind their words so they can be
more harsh and condescending.

Now, if your primitive intellect can do this, why not sort your messages by
sender, and look at the scores of pics sent by Ken and Spider.

I do not think you will change anyone's mind here about Ken or Spider.
Those lurkers out there who find Ken uppity, or Spider condescending, we
haven't heard from them, and I think that if you, whoever you are, do find
their comments so, you should bring it up in a polite manner rather than
being condescending and harsh yourself! Comprende?

Anyhow. Bye bye now you poor craven soul.

It is understood that when one requests comments, they request both
positive AND negative comments. If you only got positive comments, you
would never get better at what you do. You pick on Ken and Spider
merely because they post often and spend a lot of time and effort to
reply to pretty much every post that is made. Please take your immature
flame war elsewhere.

A note to the kids out there, the internet isn't as anonymous as you may
think.

Another note, you don't have to pretend to be a genius at POV to be
accepted here - the few months I've spent in here have dramatically
improved my pictures, and I've never seen anyone told that they suck for
anything they've done while learning to use POV.

Thank you very much. I accept the honor you bestow upon me and
appreciate the compliments. It is nice to be recognized for the
effort I make around here to help others. Your tone is a little
odd but I won't let it take away from the underlying compliments
you are paying me.

Again thank you.

I did wonder about that. Unfortunately Netscape makes it more difficult
than normal to grab the full header from a message. I figured someone
with a real newsreader (please note, I have no objections to Netscapes
newsreader, and hence I use it) would pick up the header info and figure
it out if it were the case.
