Nice. Very nice. I was planning on entering this round, but now I'm scared!

I have to agree with Vahur about the grey horizon, might I suggest you try
white instead? Usually works for me :)

Are those birds flying round the top of the fortress? Whatever they are they
look good, IMHO. Hopefully the final render will be high-res enough for us
to see more detail, 'cause there's certainly a lot of detail in this image.

Nice one. What are you gonna do with the rest of the two months?

The right part of the foreground still looks a bit ugly, the water looked
better in the first version IMO.

The change of the sky seems very promising, only the clouds look a bit too
uniformly distributed.

Fixed, they are! (Sorry Vahur!)

I agree with Tom and you here, it doesn't work very well. maybe if you
"reduced" the dimension of the area where this occurs. You might want
to take a lookt at some real waterfalls such as:

What? You want US to do YOUR work, now?

;)

This shows what I was thinking, that his first image was more realistic,
in that there is no real "sense of speed" at the edges of waterfalls.

Maybe -that- is how he gets them done so quickly!

Exactly. Water is not viscous enough so that the free-falling water
"drags" the upstream water in. Water at the very top of a water fall
will be flowing at the exact same speed it was 3 miles upstream
(provided the river bed size is constant).

you missed the words 'awsome rollex' in the subject <g>

the clouds dont look right to me, you might be better with some of the
clouds scenes posted here a while back, and i am not to sure about the water
fall, maybe its just the camera angle...

this is easily one of the coolest pov images i've ever seen! excellent work so
far :) I like the clouds, though the edges are a little sharp. I don't have
any issues with the fog in the distance, though I suggest either a darker grey
or something closer to the color of the sky. i like those dots around the
tower, it gives the image more life. i like the water; the streaks where the
water is going over the falls could use some work, though the only way I can
think of to render realistic water is with a particle generator of some
sorts. i realy like the color scheme and modelling of the spaceship

great work,
eugene

I liked the old clouds better as well.

I liked the old clouds better. If I were you I would ditch realism and go for
surrealism and a paintlike texture to the image. You're 99% there!
BTW, the turbulence before the waterfall... suck. Well, I had to give one
criticism... :)
This one looks darkened a bit. That I like.

well, I like this image as is. The "flaws" in the picture/code are what
gives the scene your own "artistic" touch. Great work! Any detail
shots of the flying city?

Blessings,
           Brendan
