Select the patch object, and somewhere on the right hand options bar in
Moray, there are a couple of boxes with spinners next to them which allow
you to change U, V and flatness settings.

You might find it worthwhile setting flatness to 0 as well as upping the
U and V settings.

Bye for now,
     Jamie.

i realized that those settings are for patches and i had converted my
fuselage to a solid mesh. what i may do is export the fuselage minus
the nose as a mesh and then export the nose cone as a patch in order to
use the u and v steps. thanks for the help.

Amazing! I once thought about making a model of this thing myself, but
decided that the task was too daunting, and that I would never finish it
anyway. Glad to see someone has more patience than I do :)
The only problem with the model is, as someone already mentioned, the holes
in the bezier nose. Other than that, the model looks absolutely stunning.
Can't wait to see it in a real scene, with some nice textures.

i posted a note in advanced-users of my current texture problems. as
you can see, i havn't fixed the nose cone yet, nor have i added anything
to the model besides my first feeble attempt at textures. any advice
will be appreciated. if any of you want to try making some textures for
me, you can try a primitive version of this by making a 13 unit long box
for the fuselage and wings appropriatly proportioned. thanks.

Not too bad for a start. I'm not entirely sure about the light blue though!
Maybe a worn out orange-red instead. Maybe the overall grey should be a
little darker. I'm still drooling over the modelling job though!
