Hi, Folks,
This is just a quicky result after a couple of evenings playing with
polygons...just to make sure I still knew how to render something.
I've been real busy in the flesh-and-blood world so there has been
little time to hang out in the POV world. This last year has been
primarily devoted to my 12 Step Recovery program to get out of the
drug world I've lived in for 30 years. I have 13.5 months clean time
and am doing lots of service work with my new family. Playing in the
POV world has pretty much been on hold.
But now I'm back! And with a clean, focused, unclouded mind! Now I
can actually remember what I'm doing while I'm writing scene scripts.
( No wonder that my Our_House project has taken 8 years to get
anywhere! Duuuhhhh!!!!! )

That is really nice to see! Fortunately I have never used any drugs. But
it's commonly known, that it's hard to get out of.. Especially without a
strong motivation; something to live for.. It sounds like you see the
benefits of being clean, and there might even be more benefits to discover.
Nice picture. I just wonder why people here keep using the term "Friday
abstract" I have never seen it outside this newsgroup.

Sanity and a normal fanily life are what I wanted and are what I am

I just picked up the slang here; I have yet to visit other
newsgroups. The term refers ( I assume ) to a POV work done
completely during a Friday, users local time, just to "stretch" ones
programming muscles before settling in for a weekend-long session of
coding the "big one"!

I believe Justin Whitton was the one who started the whole thing, used
to post a Friday Abstract every Friday (still posts from time to time,
regrettably not as often as in the good ole times) and people seem to
have picked it up.
