Ok that is presumably the US. I though so, but we are an international
forum (in the canonical meaning not the US perversion of it) so it is
sort of nice to mention the context.

All of this is really a mute point. I am beginning to think everyone's mouse is
broken or everyone is allergic to clicking licks. What's important is the link,

Dear Commissars,
Trying to determine vulgarity on a case-by-case basis is clearly
confusing everyone. In order to avoid any further misunderstanding, I would
like to propose the following:
USUALLY GOOD USUALLY BAD
The celebration of body holes that God makes The celebration of body holes that
man makes
The consensual kissing and fondling of the body The non-consensual shooting,
stabbing, and exploding of the body
Seeing any part of the body Seeing any part of the body being shot, stabbed,
burnt, blown up or otherwise violated
Words meant to provoke thought, emotion and laughter Words meant to provoke
violence
Call me crazy, but isn't this a much saner approach to censoring what we see on
TV? I suppose you might quibble with it if you had an unconscious agenda to use
mass media to create a fear-based, blood-thirsty, war-happy culture that is
addicted to the adrenaline rush provided by graphic images of violence and
death while simultaneously imbedding everyone with feelings of shame and
self-loathing in order to foster obsessive-compulsive consumerism, not to
mention brisk drug and alcohol sales. But thankfully, that's not the case.

it has a date of '1st Aired: 10 Apr 2006' on it so it can not have
anything to do with 'Tonights episode "Golly Moses, She's a Muffin"
vanity card' or whatever. And I am still missing a lot of information,
presumably by being geographically challenged.
FYI I even took the time to google "Golly Moses, She's a Muffin". Even
that did not clear up any of my confusions.

When Chuck Lore produces a serial TV show, he flashes after the credits and
before the ads a chunk of plain text, black on white, for half a second.
It's called a "vanity card." They're usually kind of funny, or poignant, or
so on. You have to pause the recording to even read it.
This one was talking about how the FCC would censor sex but not violence,
and for some reason he thinks the FCC wanted him not to flash it or some such.
It hasn't anything to do with the specific show.

I still don't get the timing. Was "Golly Moses, She's a Muffin" a show
that was aired on 10 Apr 2006? If so, why is aQ referring to that 12
June 2009 as if it was happening tonight (or last night)?

Metapost: it is not that I think this is important or relevant. Just
that I prefer people to post messages that are comprehensible. Both in

Couldn't help myself. Decided to look a bit further. The Show aQ is
probably referring to is that of June 4th. That has a vanity card that
is censored http://www.chucklorre.com/index-2hm.php?p=251 . Now we only
have to explain a time dilatation of 1 week. That should be easier than
3 years and a bit. No mention of "nudge, nudge, wink, wink" however, so
it is still possible that aQ was referring to some other show (there are
at least 5 to choose from. Yet, #155 is not one of them).

Sure. I was just explaining what a "vanity card" is. I'd never seen them
before about 6 months ago, since I watch so little TV.

No, that has a vanity card that says "Censored" on it. Who knows if it was
really censored, or Lore is trying to make a point, or whether he had
nothing clever to say that week so he put that up as a kind of joke?
