I notice a couple of problems... Well one problem and one preferable
fix...
Firstly the keywords are not recognized by the official GUI i.e.. method,
function,,,
This is not that big of a deal though... I'm sure there is a simple
solution too...
Secondly and more importantly the radiosity button does not seem to be
working on the official GUI... checking the radiosity button usually ( in
the official/official ) sets radiosity to the defaults and renders a .rca
file first then runs the regular pixel bu pixel render... Maybe the Mega
radiosity works differently... ??? I noticed this in the compile of 0.4
with the official GUI that Chris Huff sent me...??? Is there something
else i have to do to use radiosity or is it not interacting w/ the GUI as
it should...???

Yes, we did not update that file. In the unofficial version the keywords
are set up automatically but the official version needs a separate file
(keywords.r). If you update that one by comparing with the keywords in
tokenize.c and recompile you should get a correct syntax coloring. Don't
know if you should keep them in alphabetical order for the syntax
coloring to work, did not get that deep in the source.
However, its only cosmetic, it does not affect the working of MegaPov.

Simple, please read the manual because radiosity is set by the global
settings. Take a look at some of the example scenes provided with
xxxMegaPov 0.x.

OK so all the new keywords will be in tokenize.c in the unofficial compile...
That i could not figure out... Thanks...
As far as the radiosity i just figured that out this morning... Silly me...
Confucius say, " ... if all else fail try reading directions ... "
BTW...
The Mega/official compile ran smoothly and wonderful with about thirty some
easily fixable warnings... The regular Mega compile was not so nice, it ran
with some thousand ERRORS before i got fed up and canceled the compile...???

Moon47,
Could it be that the clock of your computer is not set correctly? Please
verify.
Thanks

No, it does not depend on order right now in 3.1, you can have them in
random order.

Whew..... :)
I'm so so glad you said that. I was just about to look for a program to
alphabetize the list of keywords i picked out of the tokenize file...
That was a chore on its own...

I think i like the old radiosity better... How should i change the source
to revert to the old radiosity files... I tried replacing the <
radiosit.c, radiosit.h, & rad_data.c > files with no luck... it
complained of errors w/ radiosit.c and lighting.c...? is there an easy
way to fix this...
The new radiosity seems quite boring... Se post < rad. not rad. > in pbi.
The old one was much nicer...
IMHO...

The changes are probably too tightly integrated to separate from
everything else without a large amount of work.
What exactly don't you like about the new one?
It is faster, smoother, less buggy, and does a much better simulation of
light. Perhaps you are just using the wrong settings, the ones that were
good for the official version don't work as well in the new radiosity.

See my "Rad not Rad" post to see what i want to achieve... I tried changing
settings to match w/ little success... Both images use the default settings...
