Forgetting that might require a forfeit be performed before you come back
from Knapp.

Fortunately for him he's not even there yet.

That does mean it'll be longer...Oh, I see, that is good for him. ;)

Seems you're not keeping up with your full name, though. ;)
It's getting later in the evening here. Which reminds me - what are you
doing up at such a crazy hour?

As I said, a blackbird singing etc. Not a bad way to be woken - almost
as good as a Feegle crawling into your bed and telling you that the
shadows are 'scarely'.
John (missing the Feegle and the Kat - they're in Bratislava atm)

Ah, yes, I remember days like that. We had an incident once at our first
house with K. coming down 3 flights of stairs to our bedroom (it was a 5-
level split-level townhouse; his room at the top, ours second from the
bottom) dodging velociraptors when he was about 10. We'd watched the
second Jurassic Park movie without (a) knowing what was in it, and (b)
realizing that the dinos might give him nightmares.
For us, it's usually cats singing these days. Having moved a bit north,
the nights are much shorter than they used to be, with sunsets
approaching 9 PM and sunrise around 4:30 AM.

:( - though I hope they're enjoying themselves.

Indeed they are. The Feegle is terrorising his cousins (or at least
thinks he is) and the Kat is enjoying being cooked for,
In a couple of months, we'll all be over there for some much needed R&R

Where will you be headed, if you don't mind my asking? Or do you mean
Bratislava?
(in context, "there" was initially interpreted to mean "the US," hence my
question)
