A recent post of Lars R. in p.object.collection point a strange 
phenomenon. When a filtered color is applied to a polynomial (and poly) 
object, some noise appears on this object.
Since I have not good skills with coding I don't know if it is a bug or 
another thing.

polynomial & poly are two different syntax for the same object, so it's
normal that both display the same behaviour.

It's transparent (filter) and with interior Ior. There might be some
noise amplification on the computation of the two normals (input and
output of the ray). Or something else.

I noticed that the reported poly was 6-th order on dimension, might be
interesting to have a study on the lower even order (even is closed, odd
is usually infinite, IIRC).

It's not as grainy as coincident surface.

Just my 0.02€.

Thanks for your answer. I have tried with 4-th et 5-th order. With 4-th 
order all is good, but with 5-th order one part of the poly is grainy 
while this other part is smooth.
