Should still work fine with radiosity, but as for compiling, just ask. I can
only help if you're on Mac or Linux/Unix, but all you have to know how to do is
tell it to compile. Once that's set up, it doesn't require any manual effort.
It may require some sort of free download from Microsoft, but on a Unix-based
system everything should be set up to go. May take a bit of effort to figure
it out, but it should certainly be possible.

Hey,

Wow...nice man. I can never seem to pull off stuff like that..
But then I paint in abstract and want to do realism...they say an artist can
never produce art of the style they wish..
This has proven true for me. >_<

Well, I like the composition (use of traditional isosceles triangle), the
contrast; both in intensity of brightness and complexity of objects used
versus layout composition. I like as well the (perhaps accidental color
relationship?) missing implicit primary color glow within the foremost
sphere.

The only thing I might do differently is use different spheres for each of
the three, perhaps with a very slightly varied surface normal or texture.

Very good.

By the way, can you e-mail me a large image of this creation, maybe
1600x1200 pixels? Or even the source code? That would be great! Thanks.

Sven

Thanks. The whole source, commented to the point that it reads like a book, is
in p.t.s-f under "Fancy sphere with 'Path-tracing'". The trivial modification
to the POV-Ray source for the path-tracing is included, although based on some
quick tests, it should look no different than the radiosity version which is
turned on/off with with the path_tracing_on variable. The radiosity settings
have not been tested very well, so you should be able to render it with those,
but it sure won't be optimal. Hope that works!
