I've started to experiment with combining Rhino renders with pov
renders. The side thruster one is also processed in Corel Photo-Paint.
I'm working on a brouchure for a manufacturer of hydraulic equipment,
and I plan to use these on pages with general info on the different
product groups. The last one is cropped from the cover. I'm not happy
with the arrangement.. it's sort of messy yet.

Water material and clouds are based on Kevin Ellis' "Doorway to
Enlightenment".

A well-tested and trustworthy combination these days. Your experiments
prove it.

Impressive work on the post-processing!

They definitely look print-worthy. Good sense of ad art you have.

Thanks all, glad you like it. The pencil post process is a nice
feature of Corel PP. In addition it's very simple to control.

I forgot to tell: these are modelled from autocad 2d drawings. The
drawings had three orthogonal views which made it amazingly fast to

Hydraulikk, btw. Not a big company, but famous up north for it's
fishing wessels.

Me to! IMO, It's easier to see the shape. A shame the aa isn't better
though.

Thanks, Peter. Do you have any links to such art? I'd love to see how
others are layering.

It looks good, i will have to try that Corel-Photo-Paint filter too...

Have you thought about placing the equipment on some base rather than
directly on the water? I would also try removing reflection or making it
blurred on the painted parts, that would also make them better to
distinguish from the polished metal.

Nice, but i think the water looks not cold enough for a norwegian firm.
:-)
