OK, guys, here's the latest version. I've finally decided that there will be
two (2) final versions of this image (a first for me). One version will
feature a shiny, brand new hallway, with all the buttons and lights and
other nice stuff operational. The other version will be rusted and decayed,
with water at the bottom, at an angle, with light streaming in through the
window. What do you think?

Please give me your comments and opinions. Bye, now. :)

PS: I know that the panel for opening the door is still not there, don't
fret. I also know that the pipes still need gauges and valves. Relax.
They'll be there.

This is coming along very nicely Tony. Just one small suggestion. The cage
around the lights seems a bit heavy, it's out of scale with the rest of the well
detailed interior. I sugest you make it a bit more slender. The same goes with
the chains holding the lights.
I look forward to seeing the scene progress.

Great work Tony, this reminds me of the end of one of the levels in
DukeNukem3D.

Thanks. I'm really proud of it. This might be my best scene ever. :) Did you
ever play the original Duke Nukem? I remember how the commercial was: "Over
1MB of pure action!" Hahaha!

Lanterns?!? I thought you were going for a futuristic look, something
like a spacecraft that crash lands on some planet, so I expected light
panels or at least some kind of flourescent tubes. Now this looks like
something you might find in an old mine or in the lower parts of an old
derelict cargo ship(oil tanker?).

Anyway, as someone else mentioned, the cages and chains for the lanterns
are out of scale. And I still think the door looks too small for its
apparent weight and for such a wide passageway. It looks very thick and
heavy-duty, I would expect it to be a bit...er, larger. Right now, if I
use the lanterns as a guide(assuming they are the same size as normal
hand-held lanterns), that door would only be suitable for the Seven
Dwarves. :-)

I noticed you covered the arch with some kind of metal grating, that was
a good idea for getting rid of some of the extra space. Maybe the
lanterns should go above it and have holes in the grating for refilling?
But then they probably wouldn't be very visible in the image...

How anachronistic of me. Sorry. I kinda visualized them in there, and forgot
about where it is that they're supposed to be. What sucks is that I put so
much work into designing them. I feel like they have to go in there,
somewhere. We'll see what happens.

Hi Tony. Good modelling! I never seem to have the patience to model stuff with
that much detail. Could use a brighter light, but other than that is it turning
out nice.

No never played the original, but thinking back to the game, this image might
look good with a red/pink spotlight somewhere shining down a wall and across
part of the floor.
