Have you tough of proposing those to some Jazz Fest? You could get a contract
for some posters.
Very "in tune". You don't need the title, it says "Jazz" all by itself. Love
both versions.

Steve maybe you could export the unsmoothed 'cages' as .obj or whatever
and he could smooth it in PoseRay or his mesh editor of choice.

So, the figures are in Poser? And the clothes are Poser too (conforming I
suppose)?
I noticed the shoulders too. The only trenchcoat I am aware of comes from
Poser 5, doesn't it? I have experimented with it some time ago and was not
happy with the results. It contains serious flaws in modelling design. My
suggestion would be to export (.obj) the jacket and trenchcoat, like they
are now modelled on the figures, to Wings for example, smooth carefully the
offending creases and re-export to Poser. They should fit the figures again
(after deleting the original clothes). Of course, they would not be
conforming again so do this only when you have totally finished the set up
of your figures in Poser.

I forgot to say: very nice scenes! I love the composition and lighting.

Thomas

Hi Nekar,

Love the feel of this. It would be good to see a metronome standing next
to the wall, the mechanical type, ticking away there, these guys probably
wouldn't be playing anything you could keep in time to a metronome with
they look too hip to be that conventional.

Keep us posted.

Cheers
Steve

I'm not quite sure what you mean here but yes I think funk wouldn't feel
right with a metronome.

My wife was in hospital this week so the kids were a handful ...
I've added more detail to the double-bass and I still need to fix the
shoulders and Place the instruments seperately which can be quite difficult
and time-consuming.

Thanx

Good picture.

And to give a little suspens, you could also draw different shadows of the
musicians, having movements not linked to the 2 men.
something wrong, just not to be really in accord with the strict painting, what
jazz is for the music.

Yes I have been thinking along those lines. I want to put in dustbins that
throw a shodow that looks like a drummer playing drums.

  Hi Nekar

Did you ever do anything with my saxophone model?

Would love to see what you did.
