Hi Gail

This is getting really interesting as concept, and also artistically. My
only complains are more for the tech part. I see the shadow parts are too
dark. Can you put some light on "the other side" of the room to give some
light filling? It also seems to mee that the point of view is somewhat
"opressive", too close to the wall (I think someone already mentioned it).

  Good luck!

Sounds like you could maybe save some time by using my Illusion Include

Great image by the way! I'll follow its development. :)

Hi Gail,

A nice image progressing well. I like the fish leaving the picture (it
emphasises the 'where the pictures are a little more real than is usual'
comment in your first post). When I read that comment I though you might
have had a figure reaching into one of the pictures, but your concept is
great.

I think that the camera position/angle could be tweaked a little. Moving it
back could give you the opportinity to add some more details to the wall,
such as skirting boards, and floor.

I look forward to seeing the final version.

Cheers,
Ian.

Maybe this would require unreasonable trouble, in light of how you made
the fish, but I think a different camera angle would help. That is, so
the camera is closer to the fish and the fish is jumping at it.

The image is kinda dark. You might try 1) brighter lighting, or
2) lighting that looks like nighttime security lighting as if this sort
of thing only happens after hours.

Or, if you wanted to use a poser model, a security guard finding a fish on
the floor in front of the painting. Actually, you wouldn't even need the
security guard. Not sure if you want to be that subtle, however.

The julias look a bit unstable to me; perhaps make the pedestals a bit
bigger?

Changed the camera angle and brightened up the fill lights.

Worse. Looks better showing a view down the hall. IMO

The fish now looks as if it could actually be part of the physical
painting. Like a sculpture attached to it. Before it was obviously separated
from the image.
