Hi. Love to see that code when you have a moment. I would like to try an
animation where an image comes in and out of clarity on a backdrop like the
happy to show you any results.
I don;t yet have any of my animation son the Web. They are rendered at 720 x
480 for projections on large screens and the Web presents too many
compromises (for now.) I think someone tried to do a compressed version
somewhere; I'll try to find the URL.

My question is why would anyone use AOL? Okay, they feed on ignorance, but then
haven't they been shut down? (Probably run out of Florida...)

Shut down ?????? hehe . . . just the opposite I'm afraid . . . but they may
soon add POVray.org as they will soon own EVERYTHING !!!!!
Why use it ? . . . I keep it as a last resort as I am constantly on the road
and
need to be able to access the web from where ever. If you have any tips on
finding a universal provider that will allow me to access from anywhere . .
.
please pass it on. I hate it but . . . until i find something better . . .

Will do so as soon as I clean it up a bit. Changed it quite a bit today .
. .
shooting for making it brighter as Sander suggested. Went to specular
highlights and some metallic and came up with spheres that resemble little
pearls . . . at least the light colored ones.
Still want to get back to trying to make them translucent . . . getting
there.
Interesting idea . . . that fade animation . . .
Will post it soon and link you to it.

Hehe, here's a plan: use OE to post in sections. Wait for someone to complain
they can't look at it, someone else will compile and repost it for you, then you
can cancel the originals...

With AOL 6.0 they began a AOL Anywhere set of features to allow for access
via several optional methods. They just sink their teeth in if you struggle
:-)
I've looked up the possibility of a ISP with a 1-800 phone number to forego
the need for local calls from anyplace but found none.
I currently have a year of free Dellnet by MSN which has a local number too,
as well as my cable modem ISP being local also. So I get to choose from one
of the three, AOL, MSN, Charter Pipeline. I remeber how it was trying out
NetZero and needing a expanded local calling area in order to use that.
It's hard to beat the big companies when it comes to accessibility, I agree.

Yes . . . of course they affect the highlights on the beads too . . .
I did a lot of changes today for the finish of the beads . . .
changed to specular and some metallic to make them glow a
bit . . . kind of a pearl look to the light colored ones. But . . .
I don't like how the darker ones look with that and the beads
in the shadow look completely flat. So . . . more work to be
done. My original idea was to have them translucent with the
lighting shining thru from the back.
I do like how the Fibonacci pattern enhances the curves.
