Experimenting with glows in MegaPOV. I used Chris Huff's 'glows attatched to
light sources' demo file as a starting point. There are 1050 lights/glows in
each scene. All I changed was the pigment strength.. from 0.01 to 0.03.

All the best,

Andy Cocker

Looks really, really great!!! I love it!! I think I'm going to load that
code you used as a starting point, too... Cause I haven't noticed...

Well, my experiments with glows have not been succesful. I tried one
glow to light up a sphere with Arnold radiosity.. Very bad result, I
would even call it buggy. It was totally wierd. If I replace the glow
with a white sphere at the same size & position, it looks as expected,
but with a glow - it only generated small white sparkles, like stars.

So I'm interested in knowing why and if it's going to be fixed... But
your scene looks great... An ocean of light!

Hugo

Tsk tsk, you know better than to burn magnesium during the chem lab...

Thanks Ian, but really, I just feel like I'm fumbling around with POV. You
see, I never start out with an idea, and work towards it. Instead I just
experiment until I end up with something that appeals to me. I think that's
where the real skill lies.... trying to raytrace what's in your imagination.
