I like the design.
But it looks like its made out of one peace of wood, that's not very
realistic. And the veins are to lined up with the corners of the mirror and
the hole shape.
Will you donate it to the Objects collection?

It looks good, although it surely needs something to reflect :-)
The wood stucture looks like it's beeing cut from one piece of wood, at least
the frame will probably be made of several pieces in reality.

Magic Mirrors are constructed from rules different than the "real" world.
One of the things I appreciate about POV is that you can create things that
are not based on the "real" world method of construction... Hence magical
items can be made from one peice of wood.
Given that concept, what can I add to the mirror to emphasize the "magic"
qualities of the mirror without limiting people to the concept that it is
just a mirror?

Well, I quit my magic studies quite a few years ago, but on magic mirrors
I remember they reflect anything in the world, except that/who is in front
of them.

Use the vampire method that was talked about so much here a while ago,
have a red cube in front of the mirror, but let the mirror show a
blue sphere. Maybe have a green cone next to the red box, but also
have the green cone reflected in the mirror, that would freek people
out a bit. From what I remember it's all to do with bounding.

At the time it was done with bounding, but with the latest versions of
megapov, it's easier to do it with the no_image and no_reflection
keywords.

Thanks I didn't know about that, it should be much easier now, maybe
even easy enough for me to use:-)
