Cool!

I don't go for space images much but I really like this one.

It's quite refreshing to hear someone say that they don't really
know what the thing is that they've created, rather than someone
sitting down and saying I'm going to make a picture of my
motorbike. It's as though you've been doodling in POV and come
up with something amazing.

Did you code or use a modeller?

Cheers
Steve

My vote is for "Construction of the transductional mode in the matter
curve".

Very cool image, but I would suggest, if you explore this image more, to
move the camera more towards the left without changing the Look_at
value, which will add a sense of movement that this doesn't have. The
perspective makes it a bit hard to follow, but the textures are very
well done. Keep up the good work

Lurker decloaked!

I like this image, although I can't really relate to it, it looks like it's
snitched from a Sci-Fi movie somewhere..

Media in the middle?

This picture looks pretty much like another one which was rendered with
3DSMAX I saw somewhere. I think it's especially due to the media in the
center.
I think that using depth of field would improve this already good
picture.

What? You don't recognise the barrel of a laser-directed plasma pulse
weapon when you see one?

Weapon? This is obviously an interstellar Wormhole generator.
Faster than the 'A' train!

It shouldn't take too long to make a 320x240 series, I suppose. Perhaps
I'll try it sometime. I'll experiment with some of the other suggestions as
well. I like the chrome tips idea... And in response to other questions:
yes, the plasma is media, and it was done without any modeler.

Thanks!

It is often the *last* thing one sees... <g>

This looks like something from Final Fantasy 7! You should go work with
SquareSoft, you'd be a great artist!

Keep up the good work!
