Very nice. Are the crystals actual lightsources,
or just glows? And how about applying some
sine-wave intensity along the animation, or
shifting colors?
As for the carts: the kids will drop out of those
carts! How about at least one metal bar, maybe
some vertical ones, which won't block the view,
but at least look like somethings actually there
to keep riding personnel from falling out?
Shaking is much better now. Having two
carts was a great idea. Now add some
people waving when it goes downhill,
and release the code for everyone to render
his own 10 minute rollercoaster ride! :-)

Just glows.

I'm not sure...

Which kids? This is not a rollercoaster. It's a low-security track made
in a hidden underground tunnel far far away by underpaid miners and,
erm, construction people. ;)

I don't think such mining carts were made for personnel... Maybe they
have removable back and front plates, which are removed here...

I agree.

No-no, it's not a rollercoaster!

The dirty code shall be released in the end...

Wow really cool! I think the tunnel could use some more detail though,
maybe supports for the ceiling every once in a while. And perhaps so
loose dirt and rocks on the floor?

Wow, quick turnaround on the supports and stuff. Looks great, personally I
think it looks next to perfect, except maybe for the carts? Nice touch,
but maybe low-profile carts with four walls wouldn't hamper the view too
much? I guess I'm so used to seing four, but I guess if it were to carry
long pipes, rails or tubes then just two would work ok.

Rune, that's pleasure to see you are exploring 3D with POV in so interesting
areas. Nice anim as usually.

After watching it loop full screen for a while, Zoe (3 year old daughter)
said
"Its just like the one at Grandma & Grandad's house"
I think she may have been referring to the train, but who knows.....

Yeah. You feel the shaking now, but aren't completely overtaken by it. Maybe the
ends of the carts have two swinging doors that
open up and lay flat against the side walls. When the miners are ready they open one
end, shovel all the crystals in, and then
close the door. When they send the carts back down the tunnel they leave both doors
open so they're more aerodynamic. ;-)

Fun anim, Rune.
Is it my imagination, or are the glows visible behind the walls? Is that
a feature or a bug?
