Hi all,
i`m going to rework an old model of mine and wanted to visiualize in moray a
pictured plane in order to make modelling easier. So, i created a plane for
an archit (hope, this is the right word) and wanted to "project" the desired
pic on it. Tried it with uv mapping (the only way so far, i think, for
seeing the pic directly in moray, refrained from background pics). I
converted the plane into a mesh2 object and used a image texture (using
"this is a mesh2 texture..."). I know, "no transformations are allowed".But
how to fix the pic in the right dimensions?? I always see just distorted
cutting of the picture.
Tried to rezise the original picture with an painting program to the size of
the desired plane but no effect.

Unfortunately, i have no idea...

Help is very apprechiated,

best wishes,
Robert

Hi Robert, you recently wrote in moray.win:

Mesh Editor.
Got to Face mode.
Select the faces that you want to change.
Make one of the views a UV view.
On that UV view, you will see the bitmap spanning the 0 to 1 ranges in
both dimensions and you will see the UV vertices of the selected
faces.
You then work in the UV view to drag the vertices so that the
projection works as you want.

Can I have?  ^_^;

Yes and no. I did it already, but i have to rework a lot of details.
So, please be patient.

BTW, what exactly do you want to have?

best wishes,

Robert

*evil grin*

I want a 3d model of the Nautilus with interior and exterior, and
lots of pretty CSGs.
