I usually check once or twice a week, but an announcement would be very
welcome. In fact, I just finished looking through the new additions;
unfortunately, the XTC listing is a little premature--the page says that the
modeller isn't yet ready for download. A couple of the other more
promising-looking pages gave error messages. I have a feeling these were the
links submitted to you, by people unaware of your prodigious speed and
energy. Thanks for all, Ken.

I always verify the links before adding them. I could find none that
returned an error even after rechecking all 25 of the newest links.
It does look like the makers of XTC were a little premature in submitting
their link but the notice says it should be available after the first
of April so hopefully the wait will be worth it.

Something like that...

Sounds like a connectivity issue on your end. I just connected to that
site with in 20 sec. of reading you latest reply. I often have problems
reaching web sites in the UK so don't feel too bad.

There was a glitch at the ISP that I put my isosurface tutorial on, on
Friday night (British Summer Time), but that would only explain the one
that happened "this morning" your time - unless something near your end
has cached the error message and is failing to refresh the page.

My ISPs status log says:-

21:33 Mar 31: We are experiencing problems which are causing news and
homepages to be unavailable. Engineers are investigating.

23:57 Mar 31: The above problems with news and homepages are now
resolved.

Do you have an index page I can try? Still unable to connect to the tutorial
page from either PoV links or Uncle Tyler, and I'm not on a local network.

The only suggestion I would make to the linkmaster is to post the date and
time of the last update on the main page, and possibly also point out how
many lnks were added that day. I assume every link gets put on the 25
Recent Additions list, so I use that to judge when there are updates

Josh.
