This program was mentioned at the AOL message boards and so I checked it
out. The descriptions about it never seem to mention POV-Ray however I
found it will output include files made up of cylinders and meshes (not
sure if anything else), better than telling about it, take a look at it.
Better yet d/l it and see for yourselves. It's one heck of an impressive
plant generator with plenty of possibilities.

Been playingwith this one a lot toady (instead of studying for a calculus
exam, actually :)

Looks great, and I did a test render in Moray from a DXH export... worked
well, but exported as all one object... methinks that to do this right I'll
have to figure out the .inc export....

You mean DXF export? In the export dialog, you can have it place the whole
plant in a single layer, place each type of plant part in its own layer, or
place each plant part in its own layer. This has been true since version 1.5
(at least). I use the second option, and use the 3DWin plugin to bring it
into Moray.

What's wrong with using the *.inc (Export>POV)? I used that and it
worked fine, individual parts retained their textures. I didn't even try
DXF because of that. Is Moray difficult to append a Include file into
it, didn't realize that if so (I don't use Moray).
Only thing you have to do really is write out the objects identifier
into the pov scene file after the include, of course; or just put it at
the end of the include itself. Guess they did it that way so it was
showing until you wanted it too.

Well, you can append anything to Moray, but it's not the same as importing
a file and integrating it into your scene. That's why I'd go the DXF route.
