Well, my scripting, trigonometry, splines and advanced 3D algorithm skills
are non-existent to weak, but I am good at documentation, as long as
someone can explain what I'm documenting ;-)
I like your idea. I used to be very good at getting what I wanted from
L-System-4, but it's big drawback is it generates HUGE DXFs. I have tried a
couple of times to figure out how to implement some of my L-System scripts
in POV-SDL so I could generate them as mesh2, but my lack of math &
programming knowledge stops me. I'm sure though, that a mesh2 could be
done much more efficiently than those DXFs.
If you can get something started though, I'll be happy to test & document
for you. And I still have probably a couple hundred L-System scripts for
making everything from grass to fountains and fireworks (yes, you can do
more than plants!)...
