DTA227, Dave's Targa Animator...

This will compile the tga into an 8bit .flc or a 16/24bit .flh.
It come with DFV, D's flic Viewer, which plays them (and is the only
thing I've found which plays the 24bit .flh...

Do an altavista search or archiw search for 'dta' or 'dta +targa
+animat'.

Look for DTA on the net, you can find it at POV-Ray's ftp site :
 ftp://ftp.povray.org/pub/povray/utilities/ (I think)
Else, just use your favourite search engine and you'll have thousands of
links to DTA (Dave's Targa Animator) - this is a Shareware.
Other usefull utilities are VFD or VFW (Video For DOS or Video For
Windows).

You can also have a look at the news group comp.graphics.animation,
there are lots of links and tips discussed there.

Al.

You can find DTA version 2.2.7 on my web site ( see below ). Also,
VidEdit and a couple of other useful things are there.

  Good luck.
