Look for DTA on the net, you can find it at POV-Ray's ftp site :
 ftp://ftp.povray.org/pub/povray/utilities/ (I think)
Else, just use your favourite search engine and you'll have thousands of
links to DTA (Dave's Targa Animator) - this is a Shareware.
Other usefull utilities are VFD or VFW (Video For DOS or Video For
Windows).

You can also have a look at the news group comp.graphics.animation,
there are lots of links and tips discussed there.
