has anyone found the Creatures plugin for Breeze Designer... its mentioned
in the help file for breeze but isn't on the breeze webpage... i think it
may be by a private company.

something i discovered:

if you make your objects in sPatch rendering can take forever...
if you make your objects in sPatch, export as CAD and render in POV --
things really move! Plus with Breeze each of your objects has a name and
can be easily moved around and have lighting effects applied interactively
before final rendering... plus, i like free things.

does anyone know why breeze itself has to 'think' so much before doing
anything? like even switching between viewing planes....

also, i can't seem to get the texture previews to unzip/install, how do i
or is something wrong with the files?

Dennis,

I am new to Breeze myself, but I did manage to get through the install
process. There were foour, or five files you needed to grab from the
download area. The textures are within one of them. You have to unzip the
file (which contains a zip) into the install directory, and it will unzip
the textures during installation.

okay,
i tried that but no matter what i did i had to uncheck the 'include
textures' option cause the installation would freeze up -- this was very
annoying...

do you know of a way to install just the textures now that i have breeze
running?
i tried just using winzip but it claimed 'textures does not appear to be a
valid zip..' -- something along those lines.

thanks,

dennis

If Dave's suggestion (posted as a previous follow-up) doesn't work, try
downloading the file again. You may have suffered a corrupt file transfer
(or whatever happens to these things on occasion).

my browser opens his follow up as being empty... what was it?
its wierd but his is the only name where messages open as nothing... even
though my browser says there's 91 lines in the message...

this is why i love computers, IE 4.0 especially.

Well, he said:

"I just got this working yesterday!!! You need the file bd205tex.zip.
Unzip this fileinto the same dir as you do bd205exe.zip. Then install
breeze (using the setup.exe)
and it will find the textures by itself. At lease it did for me. The trick
seems to be
unzipping bd205tex.zip BEFORE installing.
