I won't argue with that. Especially if you listen to the lyrics.

I'd be willing to bet that you don't like this either:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkuJb8MROzg
I used it raise my spirits when I felt particularly down. When I was in
isolation, I had the medics dancing to it once.

Oh, and just for Stephen and a couple of other usual suspects:

Thanks, Nekar.

I saw a few people who just gave up; they didn't last long. Whereas
those with a sense of humour like myself had a tendency to improve. One
guy I met had been living with mesothelioma* for nearly 15 years; he
said that when the Grim Reaper came to call he just laughed at him.

* Median life expectancy for mesothelioma patients usually ranges from
12 to 21 months, depending on the stage of the disease at diagnosis,
with approximately 40 percent of patients living beyond one year and 20
percent living beyond two years.

Yes, you have. We had a conversation re: ffmpeg just a few days ago :-)
In the context of this ng that makes you an acquaintance.

BTW The script finally worked and I now have a collection of normalised
files. In the end I set the gain to -1.0dB. It seemed to give better
sound quality.

24 hours? That's a half shift for some of them. Exaggerating but only a
bit (as you very well know). The nurses too would often work 16 hours
and then return the next day to repeat the same. Beth (NFN) was one of
those dedicated to doing that.

You might very well think that; I could not possibly comment.

And here's me thinking that was what southern schooldays trained you for.
