Well, I guess I have to concede that you're right: There /is/ a
conspiracy going on.

It is a conspiracy of book authors to fool us into thinking that there
is a conspiracy going on in the world, for the sake of better selling
their books.

I'm not saying the books don't have a point. But I wouldn't believe 100%
of what's written in those books. 10% maybe.

Okay I agree with that.
But when conspiracy raised its ugly head. I make my excuses and leave.
(News of the World RIP)

I must say that I have not had so much fun, with my clothes on. For Aeons.

But it is in black and white. It must be true.

Interesting thought, indeed: Why should we expect anything else from
books than a black-and-white view of the world. ;-)

Because that is what "literature" is all about. Can't you just taste
that madeleine when you drink your tea.
(That should prove to my wife that I do listen. Proust! You couldn't
make him up.)

Seriously, It was an old fashioned retort to people who believe
everything in books. Probably long forgotten by everyone except Dr. John.

:-P)

Now there's an idea. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to remember my
lines and Stephen wouldn't hear his cues.

Nah! One was my father and the other was my mother's husband
