I was just playing it today. I've now earned every achievement in the
game. (Except the last three, which are impossible.)

I went to change my weapon loadout, and noticed a new item I hadn't seen
before "gel canister". I asked Rucks about it. "Some things just aren't
of this world", he says. So I ask Zia about it. "Zia says to just open
that thing. After all, the worst thing that could happen, already happened."

I open it up, and...

...oh you have GOT to be kidding me!

White gel splashes everywhere. A hole in the ground appears. And up
pops... a Portal turret?? *facepalm*

Yes, it turns out you can equip Portal turrets, which shoot at anything
trying to attack you. They shoot extremely fast, but only on a narrow
range of directions, and they die quite easily.

Also, I was just reading Extra Punctuation, and it seems Yahtzee *does*
like Bastion after all - especially the story aspect...

Right at the end of the game, Bastion makes you make two choices.

First of all, you can save Zulf - or leave him to die.

Second, you can use the Bastion to reverse time and undo the Calamity -
erasing everybody's memory in the process. Or you can choose to stay in
the dystopian future and see what fate may bring.

Trouble is, every choice yields almost exactly the same result: Some
monologues play, the credits roll, and you see a few paintings in the
background. If you reverse time, you hear one set of monologues and see
one set of images. If you don't reverse time, you hear a different set
of monologues and see a different set of images. Also, if you don't save
Zulf he doesn't appear in the images. That is literally the sum total of
what a difference these epic choices make. Kind of an anticlimax.

I wonder if there'll be a sequal? That would only make sense if you
didn't reverse time, of course...

I gather Deus Ex: Human Revolution has 5 magic buttons, which one of
which shows you a few clips of how awesome you were.
