Right at the end of the game, Bastion makes you make two choices.
First of all, you can save Zulf - or leave him to die.
Second, you can use the Bastion to reverse time and undo the Calamity -
erasing everybody's memory in the process. Or you can choose to stay in
the dystopian future and see what fate may bring.
Trouble is, every choice yields almost exactly the same result: Some
monologues play, the credits roll, and you see a few paintings in the
background. If you reverse time, you hear one set of monologues and see
one set of images. If you don't reverse time, you hear a different set
of monologues and see a different set of images. Also, if you don't save
Zulf he doesn't appear in the images. That is literally the sum total of
what a difference these epic choices make. Kind of an anticlimax.
I wonder if there'll be a sequal? That would only make sense if you
didn't reverse time, of course...
