Here's a little something I cooked up today. I've been fooling around with
the idea in my head for a while now, and yesterday night decided to do it
today (sleepy, long week). Anyway, I haven't had much time for POVing due to
University, and I feel like I'm "loosing it". I'm not POVing like I used to.
:( I haven't added any textures to anything yet (which is weird, because
that's where I usually start). I hope you like it. Please give me plenty of
opinions and suggestions. Any good texture contributions will be greatly
appreciated.
PS: Since this is a WIP, don't worry about the two pipes on the right
intersecting, that will be fixed soon. Ignore any weird looking shadows too,
those will be gone as well.

Keep it black and white. It has a good B-movie feel.
How about pipes branching up or left?
A control panel with knobs, valves and lamps.
A Van Der Graaf Generator.
The Metropolis robot.
A pair of glowing eyes underneath the platform.

Good modelling, Toni. Looks a lot like level 1 from Descent III, don't
know if this was what inspired you but I hope it was.
Go the H.E. way. Stack a dozen textures and it'll start looking good

Hmm... no, thanks!

The pipes will stay where they are... I think...
>A control panel with knobs, valves and lamps.
I might add a panel somewhere next to the exit. I will probably add a lamp,
but I'm not sure about that. You know how I like for the light to come
through the windows. :)
>A Van Der Graaf Generator.
I haven't the foggiest what one of those looks like.
>The Metropolis robot.
<blank stare> Huh? Does it have anything to do with Superman?
>A pair of glowing eyes underneath the platform.
I don't think so...
Thanks for your comments. :)

Thanks. Where's my "y"? ;)

Sorry. I know how you love it, but the idea was "original". I see "it" has
happened again. :( Why!!!!?

I wanted to keep him out of this. I've been pretty jealous of his
circumstances lately. I went to Mass & confession today, and I feel a much
better. :) I shouldn't be envious, I should just get on my butt and start
POVing!

BTW, before I forget, the decorations on the pipes are from Gilles'
"madpipes". Thanks again, Gilles, for making a my little projects possible.

Metropolis is an old Sci-Fi movie. Circa 1927 by Fritz Lang.
Image of robot attached.

It's somewhat humanoid and mysteriously sexy... I like it. But it's not
going in my hallway. Sorry.

How about a short stairway leading down to the pipes to provide
maintenance access. And you could make the top of the door arch
to go with that ceiling.
