It might be. I was too busy with the little golden ones and the long
green ones to remember.
A bit like the 60's and 70's.

I seldom use 3D Text. Blender lets you use a basic text editor and
upload a file. I was going to difference the text from the base material
but my laptop fell over laughing. But then it is old and needs a
re-install and I am lazy.

It is on mine but I've not used it in years.

Was it not supposed to be after Pov 4.0?
That is why I am learning Blender. I need something to visualise scenes.

Umm, no. But I shall look out for it. A recommendation from you about
books is equal to a recommendation from Giles Coren about restaurants.

Monsieur Mange Tout? O_O

It is not actually a recommendation. It starts off well but descends
into flights of fantasy.

IMO His earlier work: The Demolished Man, Tiger! Tiger! (The Stars My
Destination). Are required reading.

And I ordered mine on Amazon.com :)

Another SSLT test - I wanted to try subsurface on a classical marble column, so
I found a poorly made, free model online and cleaned it up in Silo and PoseRay.
You can still see some of the wonkiness in the mesh, but after battling this
beast all weekend I'm calling it done for now. Here's my rendering of a 'Column
and Dodecahedron'
