I burden the collective conscious with the following anaglyph.
Yes I know it's not the 1st of the month :-)

A light hearted responce to the animation posted by gregjohn (in blob we trust).

Okay, I guess you win. My captioning system is not integrated with my anaglyph
system. That would be another week's programming, but probably a worthy goal.

I love it.
I don't think solid black (at the viewing plain) is bad in itself. I remember
the first time I saw pictures of the Titanic(anaglyph) in National Geagraphic
(August 1998, page 123). The black text can be used to great affect.

Oh, and my manikin can take the bald guy at the end anyday :-)

Did you salvage those heads from Kenneth?

I guess I haven't even seen, let alone salvaged from, Kenneth's work, because he
posted an avi.dat. Couldn't read that format.

No, these heads have been around since at least 4/2003:

May I try again? I tweaked the wrong parameter in that set. In this new one,
the four guys in the background are the same blob object, varying only by blob
threshold.

Really? It must be the .dat thing at the end. (Or else it's the xvid codec I
used--if you don't have it, it's definitely worth downloading. Compresses an
MPEG file smaller and with much better quality than any other codecs I've
tried.)

Even on my own Windows system, when I downloaded that animation to make sure it
played well, no player app came up automatically--I had to *browse* to Windows
Media Player (the only player I have at present.) The .dat extension--which
seems to be automatically appended to animations when they are uploaded to the
newsgroups--is probably the cause.
