He tends to look at random things that catch his eye. We're still not sure what
though.

Huh... standard poser cat, right? Difficult (probably impossible) to make it sit

Does anyone have experience with DAZ's Millenium Cat, whether it is any better
in this respect?

Maybe he's on catnip? ;)

Sounds like time for an intervention.

The cat's poses should not be taken for granted indeed. However, with some
extra work they can become acceptable (if you know cats...). But expecially
the sitting position is totally wrong.

No. I have not tried it. Is it with the standard package? I must say that I
have been unable to install the lastest version however.

You mean the stuff available for free on DAZ3D? If it was among that, I'd have
tried it myself for the "Cat Chess" shot already ;)
No, unfortunately it costs money. That's why I'm asking - if it was good enough
I'd probably invest the money (me being all mad about cats), but I don't want
to buy a pig in a poke... or, as we happen to say in German, the cat in the bag
;)

Same for me, including the madness. :-)

Ok, here's another one with a slightly different sitting position. It's a little
difficult to get this entirely correct since a real cat can fold much better.
Perhaps it should include a caption? I seez a red bug, gunna kapchur itz for u.

Not bad, although still not entirely correct where the back legs are
concerned. However, I know the problems the Poser animal models suffer from
unfortunately. The makers do not spend enough attention to RL. I have made a
comment about this towards Content Paradise and SmithMicro, but I am afraid
that it is not high on their priority lists.

(I love cats, and in real life I have to do with 4 of them.) ;-)
Beautiful textures, but perhaps the size of the pillars does not seem
proportionate to the cat.

Oh yeah, this one is definitely just about to leap.
