Very cool image, especially the lighting. Two thumbs up :)

It'll feel a bit different from the original I think; the lighting isn't at
all real. But I'm trying for the same look!
> Oh yea - Isn't there meant to be a door and small balcony on the top right ?
Yes, there is, I will add it at some point. Not so much a balcony as a
doorway with a guard rail...

Thanks for the comments everybody. I shall post high-quality renders as they
materialise. Test renders are very quick if I use the base union (no bricks)
- only a few seconds - but take 2-3 hours for radiosity and bricks.
The railings and arches won't be difficult, just tedious, but I'm looking
forward to the people. Shall I go for realistic or mannekin?
:-)

I vote for: Mannequin
If you are taking requests, can you please make the trees in the gardens
in soft fuzzy round topiary style ? Somewhat Dr Seuss.
Thanks.

So good! This is going to be another of your fantastic worlds.
Escher would have been proud.

I vote mannekin (well, realistic in this case is mannekin since the original
work got mannekins ;-)

I wouldn't mind seeing this as part of an office
entryway, maybe with some office types having
sack luches on a bench in the foreground, or
walking in and out ignoring the scupture.
