Thanks for the comments. There have been 'white rooms' in several films,
'The Matrix' most recently that I've seen. It's a fairly standard prop for
'strange or alien place' :-)

I've rerendered the scene with a much subdued background, slightly better
pose, modified hair and higher res texture maps (I realise now I accidently
exported lower res maps from PoseRay in the earlier image - novice mistake).
I think it's a slight improvement overall.

Quite agree.

Bye for now,

I really liked the first image. The blue light gave a certain feel and depth
to the image which seems lacking in the new one. Also, the new, warm hair
color seems out of place compared to all the other colors used in the image,
which are all fairly cool.

Nevertheless, great image!

Looking at the two images again I can see your point. The original colours
add more 'mood' to the image. So, here attached is v3 with the updated pose
and textures but a return to the earlier colours. I moved the horizon in a
bit which I think is better. The render looked a bit washed out so I
altered the contrast/brightness of the posted image.

Thanks very much! Hope you like the latest (and probably last) version.

Very nice image, Mike. The only thing that is bothersome to me, even from the first
version, is the
position of her hair. It seems to me that the section of her hair that is hanging
down on the far
side should be more vertical, instead of angling in towards her body.

BTW, what happens when she finally grabs the glowing orb?!?

Kyle

Ah yes, this one is perfect!

Kyle has a good point about the hair though, but I must admit I never
noticed that on my own.

Nor did I, but I'm not so sure that it should all hang down vertically.
Hair is very static, and 'catchy', so I would expect a fair amount of hair
would be sticking to her clothing. So, maybe just some hair would be falling
vertically?

Actually, I have no idea. You need to consult with some lady with long hair!

It gives me the impression she's lunging for the sphere, suddenly moving
forward. Perhaps not the impression you want to give.

I agree. This third version looks much more convincing than the first two.
Very good pose!

> BTW, what happens when she finally grabs the glowing orb?!?
There should be a little sign in the background which reads "Please do not
grab the orb." Then, when she does grab the orb, another little sign can
light up which says "Please do not grab the orb again."

or...

Zap!!!
