Not yet... I know I'm late... :-( , but I'm looking for a good new printer
(better than mine) and the most important thing : a very high resistant ink
(over 100 years), and also a good art printer here in Paris and not too
expensive for my big prints ( I found these persons:
http://www.atelierbordas.com/ )

I know Lomo camera and lomography for a long time now, but I confess I've
never give it a try... maybe some day. But I find your remark very
pertinent because my goal (with my next digital images) is to make
something similar to these photographs or something like pinhole
photography (stenope). By the way, I discovered that Polaroid company had a
(new?) product which is very interesting, it is a pinhole Polaroid camera
!!

as a great artist and take a look on his handmade cameras... ;-)

Beautiful, sensuous, ambitious artistically.

Controlled, comtemplative, orchestrated details of material and light,
yet whimsical, fantastical, a cerebral play with pictorial language.

(Btw, the film grain versions load incompletely when I tried. I use
Firefox. )

Too many compliments Jim ... immediate gratification of my ego ;-D !

ps: I've fixed the problem with the film grain version, thanks.

made in POV-Ray I've seen in a while.
Do you have an idea of the printing costs at the Atelier Bordas?

Thanks a lot Gilles !

Here are their recent prices example. It's more expensive than a regular
printing but don't forget that they are *art* printers with high quality
abilities.
As a proof, did you notice that Georges Rousse and other famous artists are
printing there ? ;-)
My apologies to other pov people for the no-translated doc, I bring it up as
is :

" Atelier Bordas, Paris

mai### [at] atelierbordascom

Bonjour,
Merci de votre message.

Il faut compter :

80x120cm = 165,20 h.t.

A ces prix s'ajoute le prix du papier, en feuilles ou au metre pour les
rouleaux,

(exemple papier pur coton 308g)

soins.

bien a vous,
l'atelier "

Thanks! It's not that expensive now. I like how they have their own
spectrophotometer...

Stop posting (faux) photographs in this group.

Now seriously, this is really excellent! The only thing "missing" is a bit
of motion-blur in the... how do you call it? I don't have a dictionary
now... I mean the dive jump table, of course.

Also, it would need just a few changes to be a true reproduction of my
swimming-pool: a different border style, old unpainted (but algae-covered)
concrete in the walls, no ladder in that side, a bit less deep, but a bit
less sloped floor too... Yeah, I really miss it now the summer is over.
