This is one of those happy accidents. I was fooling around with MegaPOV
after a long break from ray-tracing. I've always been a fan of the cubes

something similar, but lacked the math and programming skills. Then I
decided to take a long look at all of the MegaPOV features and it was a lot
easier than I thought.

I like this. I did a recursive cubes cube (on my website - source included),
and found that putting lights inside the cube and having something for them
to shine on like a floor and wall gave some really interesting results.

I've just had a look at my own source code, and it'd be a lot quicker with
boxes instead of planes, that bugger took about 14 hours to render, maybe
I'll optimize the code some and see how much quicker it is with boxes just
for the hell of it.

Wasn't it called emerald city or somethin'?
I'm a fan of these kinda cognitive images.

Yep. Those are the ones. If I remember correctly there were two "cube"
themes on Lapre's site - Emerald City and The Elements. Maybe there was
another cube series as well.
