So in fact You are suggesting exacly oposite of Runs idea - to make more
complex, not simpler iamge :)
I will do both thing then, to be precise:
A) real logo, as You can put on paper, label box using it, put on pencil,
etc - very simple.
B) complex logo-base image i.e. for a poster, or splash screen on WWW page,
somethig like
http://runevision.com/misc/povraylogo/logodisplay/logo01e.jpg.
This logo would be even more complex (as You suggested - more 3D, and point
above "i" and "j" made only from atoms, not from spheres).
Images posted in this treat are aimed ad "B" - logo-base-image.
Assuming that this is my goal (to make a splash screen / poster image with
IFJ-logo-motive in it), You thing that this render is going in good
direction +/- ?
Now Im going to cleanup code and parametrize all options, so then I can
quickly adjust logo.
Thanks for all comments, this gaved me inspiration to continue work :)

Ok. I think I dont explain it correctly what was my goal, sorry - this
image is aimed to be logo-based-image (not a real Logo).
Like image for a poster, splash screen. Assuming this is the goal, You
think this image is any good for that purpose?
And for a WWW splash screen - also is it too complex?

...and I will make real Logo (simple) as we discussed above, thanks :)

Hehe, you're right... Well, my main point was the importance of knowing
what is what. :)

That's cool then. I think Jellby's suggestions were good. I still think
you should also take advantage of the features of the original logo, and
use the 3d effects to enhance them, rather than ignore them...
