Generaly - yes :)
FOr SCC.... yes ;) but I must i.e. bet rid of background or some plant
colors to have extra space for "+clock" :]

..hmm I do not understand? (poor english)

It's a standard L-tree like fractal

Nice, this image represents full "paprotka fraktalna" (how do You spell in
english name of this plant... hmm... green, quite old, was popular even in
Dinosours times, now mostly in africa, or in plant pods in smaller
version)... "fern" or "maidenhair" according to my dictionary.

My macro ofcourse was writen from scratch, I have some simplifier versin of
it probably (1l -> 4l, from 1 elment You get 4 each 2x smaller, left
branch, right branch, near-forward and far-forward, I had set 8 as
recursive depth limit). And it has few special effects added (the first
version of image, attached in 1st post is the standart l-tree)

Thanks :)

After SCC-3 I will probably play more with this l-tree systems, I wrote a
nice program that allowed to define and render (in 2d, no raytracing just
plain graphics ;) any l-tree shape, about ...5 or 6 yers ago, that was fun
:) Btw even them program could export to povray, probably it was the grand
grand father of povtree ;) I lost source code for it, but I must check
someday if I have enywhere at least one copy of working executable left, it
was 3rd real program I made :)

Might be easier to visualize with a box: attaching them along their faces or
along their edges is fine, but try to connect them just one of their
corners. That's how the plant looks: from one very tine point a section
grows, and attached somewhere is another point with its own section. From a
structural point of view it looks like the plant would collapse and break
apart once gravity gets a hold on it.

No, no, no. It's fossil at the museum

Oh yes. I'm aware ot this 'problem', but it's impossible to fix (only work
around would be to have straight-upwards plant something like in version 1,
without nice rotation to left).

To raly correct this I must change macro bulding method from recursion to
iterational, and then add code to translate next segment [family/root] to
tuche end of current segment. Or better - create it into memory array
first, correct/re-attach all segments, then output .pov.

This sould be done in external program best (i.e. short C program)... not a
chance that any version would fit into SCC3 ;) Even if I cheated a little
and did some work around for this specyfic fractal (translate root of each
family depending of it's recursion level) it would not fit in SCC3...

but hey, we are *under water* so the gravity isnt such a big problem here
;)

Underwater plants are a serious hobby of mine. This is a fair likeness
of Certophyllum demersum (hornwort).
