At the TC-RTC Challenge /Garden/ I uploaded a view of the private garden
of the Sultana, in the imperial city of Neoilion.
http://www.tc-rtc.co.uk/imagenewdisplay/stills/418/The_Secret_Garden.html
We had not yet had the honour to be presented to her imperial majesty,
but recently we were summoned from Gancaloon to make her portrait.
This is a first one. Unfortunately, the Sultana was not yet really
satisfied with our work and commanded us to make some necessary
corrections. She found herself too /earthy/, following the exact
phrasing of her imperial majesty.
We shall now work on this task.

She was in a bad mood yesterday and impatient with us. Today, she was
more friendly.

Somehow I liked better the previous expression... looked very much
like the haughty attitude one would expect from an imperial majesty,
specially if posing for a portrait.

A next step here. Subtle differences, especially the (maybe) little
known tool: /add thickness to free mesh edges/ in Poseray. In the
previous images the cornea too had got lost and is restored here. I
followed up Jaime's comment and subtly tweaked the face expression.
Still working on decreasing the collision depth of the cloth. Against
skin that is not too difficult but cloth-to-cloth brings more of a
challenge...

She sure look like she have a lot of character... I pity those who want
or need her to change a decision on anything.

Yummy... is it me, or does she show some cross-eye ?
Her right eye seems to look on her left, while her left eye seems to
look straight ahead.
Personal note, for safety: do not journey to the Sultana, life is in danger.

This is a puzzle. *All* figures coming with *Poser 8* show this after
passing through Poseray. It is not noticeable in Poser itself, neither
in Poseray's Preview, but during the export to POV-Ray something happens.

What do you know! After giving two (2!) sons to the Sultan, she is
entitled to some authority ;-)

Getting to know the general settings for the portrait better.
In the palace of Neoilion, overlooking the Hellespont (Dardalelles)
across to the Gallipoli peninsula. June 5th, 4:10 PM
