Thanks! I almost didn't include support for higher-count point sets, but
in the end it was my math and not a bug with POV-Ray that was the problem :/

No problem Thomas! It was a fun project and I feel much better about
this version.

Hey, have you run into any problems with it? Dave Blandston was getting
an "invalid or corrupted" error for some reason. It sounded like a zip
archive thing, but I can't be sure.

No such problem on my side.
Probably a bad download. Clear your cache and try again, or use some
other browser.

No, it works just fine. One thing I have to mention though, is that when
using POV 3.7, the assumed_gamma should be commented out of the
global_settings{}. Not only does it give a parse error, it also results in a
*wrong* rendered image as gamma correction is then assumed to be off.

Yeah, I was using it to give my scenes deeper colors, but it seems the
final output is given an assumed_gamma of 1.0 anyway. I'll just try to
use filters around the camera in future scenes instead.

A bit late, but...

Could you send us the source of the wonderful image you have posted... ?
if, of course, is done in pov. ;-)

The flower and stars encased within a glass globe? POV, and a few others (:

No, a catastrophic hard drive failure would have been too late. I really
need to make some hard copies...

I uploaded the file to p.b.scene-files. It's a .7z archive, hope you
don't mind:
