I think the object collection should have one of these...

That's the impression I had - just teleported and a little disoriented.

Assuming (seems reasonable enough thoough) that it has no eyes, "nothing" of
course...

I don't see it like that at all. I see it as the figure wondering where
the hell he is, and "HTH am I going to get out of here?"

Or wondering in amazement at the scale. They all fit the scene for me
with the way the figure is posed.

In animation, there's something called "Line of action".

The figure looks like the different parts of the body are going different
ways. I'd think an arched back with hands slightly in front and down would
make it look more balanced.

Perhaps it's a lack of directional clues (like nose and ears) combined with
an odd angle that makes it hard to see. Yes, he looks like he's looking up,
but the other limbs aren't convincing to me.

But it looks like the knees are bent but the hips are level, the elbows are
bent, the hands are a bit weirdly placed... It just doesn't look like the
figure is real. Maybe the artist just stuck the doll there, but I thought
you were going for a sense of the figure being live.

I apologize for my bad English!
I meant to say: *manikin*.
The scene reminded me:

Much better! The "line of action" there clearly goes from head to pelvis to
  upraised foot quite smoothly.

Maybe the elbows just a touch farther forward, unless you're going for a
very surprised look. I first imagined the character as kind of wandering
around looking up in awe, more than surprised, so perhaps that colors my
judgment.
