Hello,
In conjunction with the wooden train macros, I've been working on a
macro to generate parameterized Thomas-esque faces. This is a sample of
its current state. As always, any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Those are from a macro? They're sooo cool. Please publish the code, when
you're ready!
I can think of a hundred uses for them!

Very nice. Having experimented with this sort of thing a bit, I have some idea
of the challenges involved. I would be very appreciative for a chance to look
at the code as well. Congrats.
Best Regards,
Mike C.

Thanks! Yes, they are all created by the same macro. The faces are
almost entirely isosurfaces, though I've put in support for that
isosurface approximation macro by Kevin Loney, Jaap Frank, and Tor Olav
Kristensen. Thus if you get a face you like you can meshify it for fast
rendering.
I'll definitely be submitting the code to the object collection. I was
originally going to include it as part of my wooden trains collection,
but now I think I might split it out on its own.

Thanks very much. I'll be posting the code in some form to the object
collection, hopefully soon. I'm still adding features, but I think its
stable enough at this point (this represents the fourth near total
rewrite). Also need to document, which will take some time.

Hello,
Posting here in case anyone doesn't read p.t.sf. I've finally
packaged the macro I used to make these faces and uploaded to the object
collection, along with some docs on how to use it. The package name is
TrainFaces. Any feedback, questions, etc, is always welcome.
