I really love this scene. I'd suggest trying ground fog instead of (or as
well as) distance fog - that would give more the impression that it's heavy
acrid fog rolling across the streets from the river Ankh; or that it's
clinging to the heels of the reaper, either of which could be good!

Thanks
I take note and I'll consider that though rendering time is getting longer
and longer.
I think a patterned media will not reduce it ;-)

Thanks!

I have a copy of 3.5--though I haven't used it in a *long* time. Downloaded
it before I started learning to use POV-Ray, but couldn't make any sense of
it at the time. NO fault of MORAY, just my own then-ignorance of POV-Ray.
Not now, of course! :-P
I thought POSERAY could do the conversion, but I see not. So I'll crank up
MORAY again. A good idea anyway.

OK. I shall do that shortly.

Really? :-)
But, seriously, if I can find the time, I shall certainly revisit the
houses. In particular, the use of the materials can be much improved, and
some building aspects are not up to my own standards anymore...

Oh, Moray is a whole different world of experience! :-)
In fact, it is very easy to use, very fast for building rapidly complex
scenes, and with a treasure trove of nice and useful plugins.

No, no! You definitely will need Moray! You won't regret it.

Apart from the three houses available at the Moray objects download site,
the two missing houses are now available at the moray.binaries ng.
Enjoy!
