Since the IRTC has closed, here's my museum entry (full render) I could
only submit a partial render to the IRTC :(

Now, some explanations.

This image is a disaster. The crome on the sphere was supposed to be
textured to look slightly rough. It didn't work out that way. The
radiosity settings are fouled up. It needs better settings IMO. The
plaque for the image hanging, goes through the wall, you can see the
wall in the lettering.

Hopefully next competition, I give myself more time to complete the
image before I submit.

The good news is the image came out how I wanted it to...

I really like it. Like Tim's "Miss You," it has a good narrative. Nice
inside jokes.

Yes, I like it, too. ... better than mine. This is our busy season so I did
not get around to thinking about the IRTC until last night. So I whupped up
this "Museum of Museums." It may not be good but it are different. ;-)

Biggest deficiency in it is the viewpoint is not close enough to show good
detail of the interior collection of museum buildings. Maybe a view from
inside looking out would have given more impact.

Oh well... still learning.

And, yep, Tim's "Miss You" is truly AWESOME.

Yep, from my "Bus Stop" of a few days ago... told ya I wuz in a hurry.

Now what I SHOULD have done was use THIS viewpoint (see attached). Maybe not
great technically, but more dramatic.

The glow isn't quite right, IMO. I got it from a sign that displayed a
company I used to work for's logo. They hung the logo about an inch off
the wall, and backed it with a neon tube (red) It looked quite nice, and
was very dramatic.
