ooh yeah that could work. You're right about the blue, but I tried some other
colours (black, green, red) and they looked worse, but grey metallic could look
good.

I don't mind you borrowing the idea, but I'll be a little annoyed if you enter
the irtc with an image that looks the same as mine!

Heh heh, I'm usually regarded as being somewhat out there, but these have
convinced me that I'm pretty ordinary. I really like "The Invisible Man".

Too much inspiration all at once, I may have to enter a couple...

Well, I doubt if yours will look like what I've got so far, but then again,
after seeing some of the works on the links Txemi posted, I may just throw
that all out and start over.

Sure you are not wierd enough. Dali was wierd enough, that's for sure.
I always remember the definition of surrealism given by Dali when
he was banned from the group: "Surrealism?. Surrealism it's me".
(he was not far from the truth... :-)

I also like a lot the Hallucinogenic Toreador, and many
others (I'm a big fan of Dali).
Do you know that the Hallucinogenic Toreador is a
picture built with 12 subpictures (?) with a size of 1 square
meter and that each one of those 12 pictures have their
own meaning?.
You only have to divide the picture in 3 in width and in
4 in height and enjoy.

The first one I linked is entittled in the website as
"Dali at the age of 6"
The actual tittle is:
"Dali at the age of 6, when he believed to be a girl,
lifting the sea skin with a lot of care to observe a dog
sleeping below the shadow of the water" (or something
like that, I'm not very good with English)
It's not a very popular picture, but the idea is as great as
the one of the soft clocks (IMHO).

Actually the same idea has been made with POV (and
what a great image!)

| I found lots of good ideas by going to google and searching
"surrealism"
| and a few names: Dali, Magritte, Tanguy, etc... (search under images
| too... the image database there is really sweet).

I'm no are expert, but something tells me this is the wrong way to
approach this topic.
