I'm not sure how much that looks like real city lights from space, the
pattern seems to "blocky", i.e. there's large areas of just light next to
areas with none. I'd expect it to look more like lots of tiny dots.

Though that said based on your previous work you probably know how to do it
a heck of a lot better than I do! ;)

    Yow! That looks like it can get expensive!

    No, we didn't even know they existed, although I assumed something of
the sort. I figured there would be a sort of snap together
plastic-action-figure-mechs. Hand painted metal is probably a good way to
blow a child's whole allowance!

    But it looks like it could be fun.

Where are you working now?
Why did you use POV for this? Is it nostalgic, or have you found limitations
in commercial software, that makes it easier to work in POV?
