Hmmm, no offence, but the "g" has a too high ambient or diffuse (or both), or
maybe a too low brilliance to look like chrome...
And I'd put in a no_image background sphere to give something to reflect...
Hmm... After looking at the picture again, I think the texture may be good, but
the white reflection doesn't really look good...

Yeys, add a sky_sphere (or your chosen 'sky' method) and make the plane
no_reflection.

This definitely needs something to reflect and maybe some more glass
objects. Right now many of the letters look like bits of fabric pasted onto
a board.
