I'm a povray begginer and I ask for some ideas ( and solutions) to improve
this image.

1 - Reflection of the sunlight on the water is fine or too artificial?
2 - The sun sphere is believeble? Ideas?
3 - Colors of the sky is okay?
4 - And what about a way to make some natural clouds to this scene?

Thanks in advance and sorry for so many questions : )

It's fine but you should use a circular area_light.

IMHO the sun is to dark.

The color should be orange near the sun and fade into dark blue.

Planes wont work with a sunset so you have to use media or a motion blurred
mesh.

I don't know how to make such light source, any tutorial available( or
example)? I don't realy understood how it works after look the
documentation.

That was easy to change : )

I changed that but the water reflection got totaly crazy and unpredictable.
The reflection looks like a grainy blue/orange water. I'll try tweaking the
reflection and water transparency values.

I'm wondering if I should post this on the newuser's...

But thanks for the sugestions

The light source is available only in MegaPOV releases.

Try MegaPOVs variable reflection. Also, try sticking a blueish plane
underneath the water to give it some consistent color.

Welcome aboard. I havn't read anyone else's answers yet but to me it
looks great as it is. Sometimes knowing when to stop making improvements
to an image is the hard part.
