First post was "mouse trapped" around 10 March which explains the
helmet. I been busy playing with Granny's old hair restorer -
Trace(tm). Had lots of hassle avoiding bald bits and furry eyes. Nose
and front paws still need attention, and need a decent texture to
replace the simple pigment used here.

DOS MPov 0.7 under Win98SE, Celery 500, 128MB ram, 78MB used. 20
minutes with aa around 0.05.

Excellent!!! I agree the front paws need some attention, but disagree with
your assessment of the nose; it looks just right to me. In fact you could
probably improve the area around the front paws by making it look more like
the nose; shorter, less coarse, etc.

I think the single best thing about this image is the way you have the fur
flowing with the contours of the body. Ironically, this shows 'best' around
the front paws, (probably because of the more direct view angle) but is
plainly evident elsewhere. Code?

Thanks.
Well, I can think of belly.b and b.nose, will that do?

Thank you Sir

Found 7 pics of mouses on web - all different shapes, but in general
snout is blunter and small nose is perched on upper half.

Yes, agreed. The body was OK until I added fur which then made the
legs look thicker.

Bits of code no problem. Anything specific you want - headless body
with legs and fur section? Tail, or feet? The problem is this WIP,
like all my pov stuff, has its own folder. Ideas and experiments bred
children and grandchildren, 17 so far with 100+ files. Even the
"includes" have includes with includes.

I always thought it went:
Mice: hairy tails
Rats: hairless tails.

Pussy-Cats! I never heard of that. Thanks. My photos weren't good enuf
to show their tails but I guessed they ought to be "fuzzy".
Anyways, Welsh mouses are different :)
